  • A thorough eye exam is performed to ensure normal vision and overall health. Many diseases are detected first through a comprehensive eye exam such as diabetes, hypertension, and other fatal diseases. You will also receive a glasses prescription with every examination.

  • We offer the Optomap Retinal exam to confirm the health of the retina, optical nerve and other retinal structures. The photos are a permanent record for your medical file, enabling your optometrist to make important comparisons if potential problems show themselves at a future examination. Screening photos are offered as a service to our patients at a cost of $35. Insurance will not pay for this service as it is elective and optional. Photos can be taken without dilation.

  • A thorough eye exam is performed to diagnose any diabetic or hypertensive retinopathy. Diabetic patients are prone to have early cataracts, glaucoma, macular edema, and diabetic retinopathy. We utilize specialized equipment to aid in the diagnosis of early changes not visible to the naked eye.

  • Our office is equipped to diagnose and treat most eye injuries and infections. Our doctors can treat corneal abrasions, chemical burns, and contact lens complications, and remove foreign bodies from the eye. If you are experiencing an ocular emergency we are pleased to offer same-day appointments.

  • Through examination and testing, we treat and follow eye conditions such as Dry Eye, Glaucoma, and Macular Degeneration. Treatment also includes specialized supplements, drops, and ointments that can be purchased in the office.

  • Contact lens evaluations are performed to ensure optimal eye health and comfort with contact lenses which are a great option for patients looking to get away from wearing glasses full time. Our doctors fit soft spherical lenses, astigmatic lenses, and multifocal lenses. During the exam, they will recommend the best lens that would fit your eyes and lifestyle.

  • Although eyeglasses and standard contact lenses can correct a person’s vision, they do not treat the underlying cause of myopia or slow its progression. Myopia significantly increases the risk of developing sight-threatening eye diseases later in life, such as cataracts, glaucoma, retinal detachment and macular degeneration. The higher your child’s myopia, the greater the risk. We now offer options with soft disposable daily contacts, Atropine therapy, and multifocal glasses.
